Ed McMahon was an American television personality best known as Johnny Carson's sidekick on The Tonight Show for thirty years, delivering the signature introduction "H-e-e-e-e-e-ere's Johnny!" He hosted Star Search for twelve years and co-hosted TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes with Dick Clark for nine years on NBC. Earlier in his career, he played a clown on CBS's live circus show Big Top for eight years and worked with Carson on the game show Who Do You Trust?
