About Deborah Norville
Deborah Norville is an American television journalist and author who anchored Inside Edition from 1995 to 2025, becoming the longest-running anchor on American television. A two-time Emmy Award winner, she previously co-anchored NBC's Today show and authored the New York Times best-seller "Thank You Power." She has also written knit and crochet pattern books and received the Edward F. McLaughlin Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024.
Since this interview
Norville ended her 30-year run as anchor of Inside Edition in May 2025, surpassing the tenures of Johnny Carson, Oprah Winfrey, and Barbara Walters. In September 2025, she began hosting "The Perfect Line," a game show on Game Show Network.
