About Catherine Oxenberg
Catherine Oxenberg is an American actress and daughter of Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. She gained prominence portraying Amanda Carrington on the ABC prime time soap opera Dynasty from 1984 to 1986, earning two Soap Opera Digest Awards in 1985. She portrayed Diana, Princess of Wales in two television films and hosted Saturday Night Live in 1986, becoming the only descendant of a royal family to host the show. Her other credits include The Lair of the White Worm and the series Acapulco H.E.A.T.
Since this interview
Oxenberg divorced Casper Van Dien in 2015. She published Captive: A Mother's Crusade to Save Her Daughter from a Terrifying Cult in 2018 and was featured in HBO's The Vow and Starz's Seduced: Inside the NXIVM Cult, both in 2020, documenting her efforts to help her daughter India leave the organization. She married Ellis Jones in 2023.
