Jerry Lucas is a basketball Hall of Famer who won the 1960 NCAA National Championship at Ohio State and an Olympic gold medal that same year. He played seven NBA All-Star games, earning MVP honors in 1965, and won the 1973 NBA Championship with the New York Knicks. Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980, Lucas became known as 'Dr. Memory' for his decades of work in memory training and education, co-authoring the bestselling 'The Memory Book' in 1974.
