About Yancy Butler
Yancy Butler is an American actress born in New York City who gained recognition in action films of the 1990s, including Hard Target (1993) and Drop Zone (1994). She starred as Detective Sara Pezzini in TNT's cult series Witchblade (2001-2002), earning a Saturn Award for Best Actress in a Television Series in 2002. Butler has continued working in genre films and television projects.

Butler continued working in genre films including Lake Placid vs. Anaconda (2015), Death Race 2050 (2017), and The Accursed (2021). She also appeared in the miniseries Diary of a Lunatic (2021).
