About Jason Mewes
Jason Mewes is an American actor and comedian best known for playing the foul-mouthed, fast-talking Jay in Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse films. Beginning with Clerks in 1994, Mewes reprised the role across multiple films including Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Clerks II. He has also voiced the character in animated series and video games, and appeared in the television series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil.
