About Leeza Gibbons
Leeza Gibbons is an American television host and broadcaster who became a prominent figure in entertainment journalism. She served as co-host and correspondent for Entertainment Tonight from 1984 to 2000 while simultaneously hosting her own syndicated daytime talk show, Leeza, from 1993 to 2000. She later hosted Extra from 2001 to 2003 and won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2013 for her PBS series My Generation. She founded Leeza's Place, a nonprofit supporting caregivers of those with memory disorders.
Since this interview
Gibbons won NBC's Celebrity Apprentice in February 2015, raising $714,000 for her charity Leeza's Care Connection. She began co-hosting the Rose Parade in January 2017. Her partnership with Guthy-Renker crossed $1 billion in sales, earning her an Icon award from the Electronic Retailing Association in 2015.
