About Jeff Daniels
Jeff Daniels is an American actor, director, and writer born in Athens, Georgia. He gained recognition in films including "The Purple Rose of Cairo" (1985), "Arachnophobia" (1990), and "Dumb and Dumber" (1994). In 1990, he founded the Purple Rose Theater Company in Chelsea, Michigan. His career spans over seventy films and includes television work such as the miniseries "Gettysburg" (1993) and later roles including FBI director James Comey in "The Comey Rule" (2020).
