About Elinor Donahue
Elinor Donahue is an American actress best known for her role as Betty Anderson on the classic sitcom Father Knows Best from 1954 to 1960. She earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 1959. Her career spans television and film, including roles on The Andy Griffith Show as Ellie Walker, a recurring part on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and a supporting role in the 1990 film Pretty Woman.
