About Dean Cain
Dean Cain (born Dean George Tanaka) is an American actor best known for portraying Clark Kent/Superman in the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993-1997). A former Consensus I-AA All-American football player at Princeton University, Cain transitioned to acting and later hosted Ripley's Believe It or Not! on TBS. He founded Angry Dragon Entertainment production company in 1998 and appeared in numerous television films and series.

Cain continued his television career with roles including Pete Davenport on VH1's Hit the Floor and Scott Peterson in The Perfect Husband: The Laci Peterson Story (2004). He had a recurring role on Supergirl (2015-2017) as Jeremiah Danvers, the title character's foster father.
