Daniel Sunjata is an American actor who gained prominence as Franco Rivera in FX's firefighter drama Rescue Me (2004-2011). He earned a Tony Award nomination and Theatre World Award in 2003 for his Broadway performance in Take Me Out. His film work includes The Devil Wears Prada and Brother to Brother, while television credits span The Bronx is Burning, Graceland, Power Book II: Ghost, and ABC's High Potential.

Following Rescue Me, Sunjata starred as FBI Agent Paul Briggs in USA Network's Graceland (2013-2015), played Dante Spears in Starz's Power Book II: Ghost (2021-2024), and joined ABC's High Potential in 2024 as Detective Adam Karadec, earning an NAACP Image Award nomination in 2025.
