About Gil Bellows
Gil Bellows is a Canadian actor and producer born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He gained recognition for his role as Tommy Williams in The Shawshank Redemption (1994) and starred as Billy Thomas in the legal dramedy Ally McBeal (1997–2002), earning a Screen Actors Guild Award. As a producer, he won a Primetime Emmy Award and Peabody Award for Temple Grandin (2010). His work spans film and television, including Patriot, American Gods, and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
