Ethan Embry is an American actor born June 13, 1978, in Huntington Beach, California. He began as a child actor in Dutch (1991) and gained recognition in 1990s films including Empire Records (1995), That Thing You Do! (1996), and Can't Hardly Wait (1998). He starred as Derek Barnes in the Fox series FreakyLinks (2000–2001) and later played Coyote Bergstein on Netflix's Grace and Frankie (2015–2022).
