About Tim Neely

Tim Neely is a record-collecting expert and author who worked extensively with Goldmine magazine. He authored the first six editions of the Goldmine Standard Catalog of American Records and spearheaded the Goldmine Record Album Price Guide, which featured 40,000 records. He created columns for Goldmine including "Pop Quiz," "Sound Advice," and "Platter Chatter." Neely also authored "Hooping It Up: The Complete History of Notre Dame Basketball" and won four Pennsylvania state writing awards as a sports writer and editor.
