About Georgia Engel

Georgia Engel was an actress best known for her role as Georgette Franklin Baxter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show from 1972 to 1977. She earned five Primetime Emmy Award nominations across her career, including for her work on Everybody Loves Raymond. Her film debut in Taking Off earned a BAFTA nomination, and she appeared on Broadway in The Drowsy Chaperone. Engel won an Obie Award in 2016 for her Off-Broadway performance in John.
