About Elsa Klensch
Elsa Klensch was an Australian-American fashion journalist and television personality who hosted and produced CNN's "Style with Elsa Klensch" from 1980 to 2001, reaching 2.5 million U.S. households weekly. She worked as a fashion editor at Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Women's Wear Daily. The Council of Fashion Designers of America honored her twice, in 1986 and 1998–99, for bringing international fashion to television audiences. She later authored mystery novels featuring TV news producer Sonya Iverson.
Since this interview
Klensch continued writing mystery novels through 2014 with "The Third Sin." She died on 4 March 2022 in Manhattan at age 92.
