About Eriq La Salle
Eriq La Salle is an American actor, director, writer, and producer best known for his Emmy-nominated portrayal of Dr. Peter Benton on NBC's ER from 1994 to 2002, earning three NAACP Image Awards. He gained early recognition as Darryl Jenks in Coming to America (1988) and has directed numerous television episodes and films, including HBO's Rebound: The Legend of Earl 'The Goat' Manigault. La Salle has also authored a thriller series including Laws of Depravity, Laws of Wrath, and Laws of Annihilation.
