Josh Hopkins is an American actor born in Lexington, Kentucky, who built a steady television and film career spanning three decades. He appeared as Detective Alec Stone on New York Undercover, Raymond Millbury on Ally McBeal, and Grayson Ellis throughout Cougar Town's six-season run. His film work includes The Perfect Storm and G.I. Jane, while recent roles include FBI agents on Quantico and Whiskey Cavalier, and appearances on True Detective.

Hopkins continued working steadily in television, joining Quantico as FBI agent Liam O'Connor, then Whiskey Cavalier as Ray Prince in 2018. He appeared on True Detective in 2019 and played Wood Helm in the 2024 film Rust.
