Adam West was an American actor who became a cultural icon portraying Batman in the 1960s television series and 1966 theatrical film. His career spanned decades, including roles in Robinson Crusoe on Mars and voice work as Mayor Adam West on Family Guy from 2000 to 2017. He received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2012 and returned to the Batman role for animated features celebrating the series' 50th anniversary.
