About Whoopi Goldberg
Whoopi Goldberg is an actress, comedian, author, and television personality who rose to prominence with her Broadway show in the mid-1980s. She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Ghost and starred in the Sister Act films. She has hosted the Academy Awards four times and has co-hosted The View since 2007, earning multiple Daytime Emmy Awards.

Following the 2001 TNT holiday film, Goldberg continued her role on The View, reprised her Star Trek character Guinan in Picard in 2022, appeared in the biographical drama Till, and played Miss Hannigan in a Broadway revival of Annie from 2025 to 2026.
