Robert Francis 'Bobcat' Goldthwait is an American comedian, actor, director, and screenwriter known for his distinctive raspy voice and dark comedy style. He gained fame in the Police Academy franchise as Officer Zed and appeared in films like Scrooged. Goldthwait transitioned to directing with Shakes the Clown in 1991 and later directed episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! He has continued to create dark comedy films and television projects.
